Routine cleanings, x-rays and exams are recommended to prevent future disease and diagnosis any underlying issues.

Meet
Erin Pender DDS, MA, MAT
Dr. Pender graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree and her masters degree in Biology from John Carroll University. She received an additional masters in teaching from Dominican University. Dr. Pender started her dental career in public health with the National Health Service Corps. Dr. Pender worked for community health centers serving the communities of Cleveland, OH and Jamestown, NY. She currently serves on the Chautauqua County Board of Health.
Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Pender was a 4th grade teacher in Chicago Public Schools. She enjoyed her time working on the south side of Chicago, but her true passion was to become a dentist like her father.
Dr. Erin fills as much time as possible with her family. She has been married to her husband Brian for over 10 years. Brian and Erin met while they both played soccer for John Carroll University. They have lived in many different areas including Chicago, Cleveland, and Buffalo prior to moving to Chautauqua.
Brian and Erin have three daughters, Eleanor, Gloria and Theodora. Their family lives in Stow, NY in a home that has been in the family for 4 generations. The girls enjoy raising their own flock of chickens, helping dad build projects and helping mom in the garden. The whole family loves the outdoors and enjoys the endless outdoor adventures of Chautauqua County.
Brian's grandparents, Don and Elsie Hogan, planted roots in the community by opening Hogans Hut in Stow in the 1960s. The Pender family is looking forward to sinking their roots deep into the community as well. They feel very blessed to call such a wonderful community home.
Tony Chung, DDS
My name is Tony Chung. I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I am the oldest of 3. I attended the University of Alberta with a biology degree. Then, I attended New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2004.
I met my wife in my senior year of dental school, and we got married a year later. We have 4 beautiful children and our eldest just graduated high school and will be going to college in Canada at the University of Toronto
In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and I have been trying to get my kids into fishing, also.
I love dentistry and feel blessed to be able to help people. I am a perfectionist and believe in quality work and feel proud of my work. I love to listen to patients about their concerns and I love to educate patients.
I feel very excited to work at Chautauqua Lake Dental. When I came for an interview, I can tell that the people here are truly family and care for each other. I wish to continue this tradition and will care for the patients like family.
